Locality:Hickory Hill Diamond Diggings, Fonda, Montgomery County, New York
Description:Large Herkimer Diamond (quartz crystal) with several areas included with black anthraxolite (hydrocarbon). Like most large crystals, it is internally flawed, though clean on the exterior (except where it was attached to the host rock).
