Mineral:Sphalerite and Pyrite pseudomorphs after Calcite
Locality:Naica District, Saucillo, Chihuahua, Mexico
Description:Large sphalerite pseudomorphs after curved calcite crystals up to 5 cm long. The outer surface is coated with yellow metallic pyrite microcrystals. The black sphalerite is visible on the bottom. Note the curve in the largest pseudomorph.
Overall Size:6.5x5x2.5 cm
