Description: | Vein of copper running through gray basalt with several patches of reddish calcite and several translucent scalenohedral calcite crystals up to 1 mm in a small cavity. The copper has oxidized and has a near-black patina. Ex. John A. Manley (1861-1936) ca. 1890s |
