DESCRIPTION:No. 34768
Mineral:Fluorite
Locality:Weardale, Durham, England
Description:Double-sided plate completely coated with transparent cubic fluorite crystals. The fluorite crystals are colorless with yellowish areas and most are not twinned as commonly found in Weardale. Fluoresces violet under UV illumination. One corner bruised. Ex. John A. Manley (1861-1936) ca. 1890s
