Description: | Hollow quartz geode lined on the inside surfaces with colorless calcite crystals up to 5 mm and a large 25 mm black-brown sphalerite crystal. When the geode was split open half of the sphalerite crystal was removed leaving a cleavage face on the outside. Ex. John A. Manley (1861-1936) ca. 1890s |
