Description: | Large hematite pseudomorphs after octahedral magnetite crystals up to 5 cm. This formation was once called Martite, but was correctly identified as pseudomorphs in 1892. The top tip is rounded over. Ex. John A. Manley (1861-1936) ca. 1890s |
