Locality:Jackson's Crossroads, 46.5 km east of Athens, Wilkes County, Georgia
Description:Doubly-terminated transparent single crystal of bright purple amethyst quartz with lustrous crystal faces accompanied by a 12x10 mm oval faceted gemstone from the same find. The crystal has a small .2 mm nick on the tip.
