Description: | Partial crystal of lustrous black schorl tourmaline in smoky quartz-albite (var. oligoclase) matrix. The schorl tourmaline crystal came loose during extraction and was restored to position. Personally collected in 1997 from excavated rock used as landfill in Riverside Park |
