Description: | Single crystal of wine-red almandine garnet with trapezohedral crystal form and no matrix attached. The largest of three in the set in the Manley collection. All have an apparent twin plane through the center. Scattered imperfections. Ex. John A. Manley (1861-1936) ca. 1890s |
