|Sphalerite var. Ruby Jack
|Tri-State Lead-Zinc Mining District, near Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri
|Large translucent red-brown sphalerite crystals up to 15 mm covering one face of massive sphalerite matrix. This specimen has exceptionally translucent crystals - one of the best I've seen considering the large crystals. A few corners show scuffing. Ex. John A. Manley (1861-1936) ca. 1890s
