Description: | Lustrous translucent wine-red almandine garnet crystal on fine-grained biotite schist. The almandine garnet crystal is trapezohedral form and is flattened on one axis resulting in an oblong shape. Ex. Ken Hogan collection. Collected ca 1935 |
