Locality:west shore of Manhattan Island at 102 Street, New York City, New York County, New York
Description:Translucent bluish-green oligoclase, a middle member of the Albite-Anorthite series, intermixed with smoky quartz. The material is massive and most surfaces are cleavage faces. Personally collected in 1997 from excavated rock used as landfill in Riverside Park
