Locality:Middleville, Herkimer County, New York
Description:Large Herkimer Diamonds (colorless doubly-terminated quartz crystals) with a small fragment of matrix on the base. The tip of the largest crystal contacted the pocket wall. The internal fracturing shows many iridescent rainbow reflections. Ex. Ned Reynolds (1923 - 2005)
