Locality:Crystal Peak area, 6.5 km northeast of Lake George, Park-Teller Counties, Colorado
Description:Single crystal of smoky quartz with remnants of quartz and microcline matrix attached on the right side. The smoky quartz crystal shows two large V-faces (7181) on adjacent prism faces and irregular twin planes - surefire evidence of rare Dauphine-twins.
