Locality:Minerva #1 Mine, Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Translucent plate of purple-gray fluorite crystals with silky surface luster. The specimen has small brownish microcrystals in crevices, possibly sphalerite or bitumen. All crystals are complete, though edges show minor edge chipping under magnification.
