Locality:Tri-State Lead-Zinc Mining District, near Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri
Description:Pink-yellow transparent calcite crystals with rhombohedral-scalenohedral crystal form and glassy crystal faces. Many metallic chalcopyrite crystals are included just below the surface of the calcite crystals. Hard to photograph - must be seen in person. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #3136; ex.
