Mineral:Cuprite with Malachite
Locality:Yekaterinburg District (formerly Sverdlovsk), Eastern Ural Mountains, Russia
Description:Translucent dark red cuprite crystals up to 7 mm on edge intergrown with fibrous green malachite crystals up to 13 mm. The cuprite crystals have smooth surfaces with sharp, well defined crystal form. Ex. Robert Ferguson (1767-1840); ex. Ed. David #49A
