Locality:Rattlesnake Butte (Devils Hill), Shannon County, South Dakota
Description:Elongated crystals of calcite with gray sand inclusions (commonly called Sand Calcite). The cluster is very sculptural and stands upright nicely without additional support.. The calcite is visible in the surface reflections of the crystals. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #5624; acquired from Bob Johnson in 1983
