Locality:Nuristan Province, Afghanistan
Description:Two parallel transparent spodumene crystals with chisel-shaped terminations. This is the pink gem-grade variety known in the trade as Kunzite, named for Geo. F. Kunz. The kunzite fluoresces violet under UV illumination.
