Locality:Mawi Pegmatite, Nuristan Province, Afghanistan
Description:Bi-colored crystal of transparent, gem-grade spodumene with steep termination. The color varies from milky pink (kunzite) at the base to flawless green (hiddenite)in the upper two-thirds. The pink zone fluoresces under UV illumination.
