Mineral:Celestine with Calcite and Quartz
Locality:Ottawa Silica Company Quarry, Rockwood, Wayne County, Michigan
Description:Parallel cluster of translucent blue-gray celestine (celestite) crystals up to 50 mm long with scalenohedral transparent yellow calcite crystals up to 15 mm and colorless quartz crystals. The calcite fluoresces under UV illumination.
