Locality:Pedra Prita, Brumado District, Bahia, Brazil
Description:Red-black uvite crystal 11 mm across on matrix of rhombohedral colorless magnesite crystals up to 6 mm. The uvite crystal is only translucent in the outermost layers and has lustrous crystal faces. One corner has a .3 mm chip visible under 20X.
