Locality:Champion Mine, 6 km WSW of White Mountain Peak, White Mountains, Mono County, California
Description:Two lustrous red-black rutile crystals up to 15 mm across in tan-colored pyrophyllite crystal matrix with a partial rutile crystal on the edge. The rutile crystals have smooth, lustrous crystal faces and are partially translucent in the outer layers. Ex. N. Dawson collection
