Locality:Rosiclare District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Large cluster of translucent purple fluorite crystals. The fluorite is cubic crystal habit, with surfaces composed of many smaller parallel cubic faces. These specimens were once common and inexpensive, but not since the mines closed in 1993.
