Mineral:Gypsum var. Desert Rose
Locality:Ahumada Playa, Chihuahua, Mexico
Description:Classic specimen of Desert Rose: bladed gypsum crystals in spherical interconnected aggregates. The gypsum crystals have a brown color due to sand inclusions. The outer edges are white where the gypsum dehydrated (flamed by the local miners).
Overall Size:10x8x5 cm
Crystals:5-15 mm
