Description: | Slender black ferberite crystals up to 15 mm long on colorless quartz crystals up to 1 mm and yellowish calcite crystals up to 2 mm. Most of the ferberite crystals have V-shaped terminations indicating they are twinned. Ex. Richard V. Gaines (1917-1999), co-author of Dana's Mineralogy 8th ed. |
