Description: | Many hexagonal platy crystals of shigaite in aggregates up to 6 mm across on translucent gray calcite crystals. The shigaite crystals are lustrous and have iridescent color ranging from yellow to green to red. Looks beautiful under magnification. Rare! This shigaite is being offered for HALF the price I paid for it in 2001. |
