Description: | Complex crystal cluster of dark red-brown almandine garnet crystals in parallel orientation. It appears the growth of the garnet was interrupted by a planar mineral. Hard to photograph - must be seen in person to be appreciated. Found at dump near air shaft at stream and Rt. 522, 1 mile north on Armenius Mine |
