Locality:Orford Nickel Mine, 5.6 km southwest of Saint-Denis-de-Brompton, Québec, Canada
Description:Elongated single crystal of green-brown diopside with chisel-shaped termination. A shorter crystal is attached near the base. Though this locality has produced many diopside specimens, this crystal is quite long and perfect on all faces. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #2097, acquired from Bentley in 1980
