Locality:Mex-Tex Mine, Hansonburg District, 8.5 km south of Bingham, Socorro County, New Mexico
Description:Deep blue linarite pseudomorph after a cubic galena crystal 23 mm across on quartz matrix. The linarite replaced the galena molecule by molecule retaining the original galena cubic shape, but now composed of linarite.
