Mineral:Pyrite in Chlorite schist
Locality:Chester, Windsor County, Vermont
Description:Two brassy metallic pyrite crystals frozen in green chlorite schist. The largest pyrite crystal has remnants of schist on the surface. The pyrite crystals have mirror-like surfaces (much better than commonly found at this old locality). Ex. John Albanese (1898-1969), ex. John Albanese, Jr.
Overall Size:8x6x2 cm
