Mineral:Quartz var. Smoky (Dauphiné-law twinned) with Microcline
Locality:Mount Antero, Chaffee County, Colorado
Description:Two dark smoky quartz crystals up to 8 cm long with colorless microcline feldspar on the base. The specimen stands upright without support. Suture lines on the faces of the quartz shows they are Dauphine-law twinned. Top termination is chipped on rear. Ex. John Albanese, Jr.
