Description: | Bright metallic galena crystals covering light calcite matrix. The galena crystals are a combination of octahedral and cubic form. The surfaces have a microscopic overgrowth of a bronze-colored mineral (pyrrhotite?) giving a textured appearance. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #6932, acquired in 1986 |
