Description: | Many dark wine-red garnet crystals up to 17 mm embedded in metallic gray galena matrix. The species of garnet is grossular to spessartine, though only testing can determine, the latter is most likely. Must be seen in person to be appreciated. Ex. Arnold Goldstein (1941-2020) #271 |
