Description:Long curved formation of silicified wood from the Vincentown tertiary marl collected ca. 1870. Old pen-and-ink label attached lists the donor of the specimen that gave it to the museum. The title Colonel indicates he was a veteran of the Civil War. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection #2595; ex. Col. Bryan
