Locality:Mount Malosa, Zomba Plateau, Malawi
Description:Extraordinary specimen of large white illite pseudomorphs after tabular muscovite(?) crystals with minor quartz, zircon and feldspar. The white mineral is entirely illite throughout. Most experts agree that this must be a pseudomorph.
Overall Size:32x25x15 mm
Crystals:3-12 mm
