Description:Rounded crystal of andalusite coated with silvery mica schist. If sawn and polished it will reveal a cross-shaped internal zoning known as chiastolite. Ex. William P. Hinkley (author of Maine Mines and Minerals, Volume 2, Eastern Maine)
