Mineral:Mesolite on Calcite with Goethite
Locality:Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Acicular white mesolite crystals in spherical aggregates up to 2.5 mm diameter on translucent colorless calcite crystals up to 3 mm. Small black spheres of goethite crystals are on the calcite and included inside. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection #9036, collected by Sam Gordon (1897-1952) in 1917
