Locality:Merchantville, Camden County, New Jersey
Description:Exceptionally large hollow geode concretion of limonite-cemented glacial sand and pebbles. On one end the geode was opened to reveal the hollow interior. The specimen is from the dense urban area opposite Philadelphia across the Delaware River. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection #23940, presented by Caleb Wakefield
