Description:Crystallized mass of black vivianite crystals mixed with grainy brown limonite-siderite mixture. The vivianite formed from the phosphate of a buried animal that failed to fossilize, but decayed in place. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection #22283, presented by Nicola d'Ascenzo (1871-1954)
