Mineral:Galena (distorted crystals) with Chalcopyrite on Quartz
Locality:Deveti Septemvri Mine, Madan District, Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria
Description:Gray metallic galena crystals up to 9 mm across on translucent white quartz crystals up to 10 mm long with brassy metallic chalcopyrite crystals up to 7 mm across. The galena crystals are heavily distorted cubes resulting in several L-shaped crystals.
