Locality:Las Salinas de Paracas, Pisco, Ica Department, Peru
Description:Golden crystals of transparent gypsum, variety selenite, standing upright off a curved plate of matrix. The gypsum crystals are all twinned, with V-shaped terminations, and have lustrous crystal surfaces. The gypsum fluoresces under UV illumination.
