Description: | Translucent colorless calcite crystals on gray basalt matrix. The calcite crystals are pseudo-cubic habit with several exhibiting interpenetrant twinning. This is a nice specimen from a quarry that has not been heavily collected at. Ex. Don Belsher collection, a gift from Sam Neill in 1967 |
