Mineral:Calcite with unusual phantom on Quartz
Locality:Shangbao Mine, Leiyang, Hunan, China
Description:Translucent yellow calcite crystals up to 28 mm on matrix of colorless quartz crystals up to 10 mm with yellow dolomite crystals to 3 mm. The largest hexagonal prismatic calcite shows a scalenohedral phantom inside (unusual!).
