Mineral:Barite on Sphalerite
Locality:Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
Description:Heavy mass of crystallized translucent brown sphalerite with crystals up to 20 mm. A hemispherical cluster 40 mm across of colorless barite crystals is perched on one side. Two sides are sawn flat making this a good bookend.
Overall Size:15x12x10 cm
Crystals:3-20 mm
