Mineral:Almandine Garnet (with 3.11 carat faceted gemstone)
Locality:Emerald Creek, Latah County, Idaho
Description:Single crystal of almandine garnet with remnants of muscovite mica on the surface (can be scraped off with a soft tool) plus 9x7 mm faceted gemstone from the same locality. The crystal is trapezohedral form and is complete all around - a floater.
