Locality:Weardale District, County Durham, England
Description:Large cluster of translucent purple fluorite crystals that fluoresce violet under UV illumination. The fluorite crystals are cubic crystal habit with silky surface luster and milky inclusions. The fluorescence indicates it is from Weardale, not Cumbria. Ex. Fred Pough (1906-2006); ex. George Loud
