Mineral:Magnetite (U-rich) with Calcite on Hematite
Locality:Prince Mine, Lincoln County, New Mexico
Description:Sparkling black magnetite crystals up to 2 mm with a few colorless transparent calcite crystals up to 4 mm. The magnetite crystals are highly lustrous and have uranium impurities that make them slightly radioactive and fluorescent under UV.
Overall Size:6x6x3.5 cm
