Description:Compact vein formation of crystallized hornblende. The faces of the specimen show striated black crystals intersecting at all angles. Has a personal label from Wilcox, noted Philadelphia patron of the sciences. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection #2976, presented by Col. Joseph Willcox (1829-1928)
