Mineral:Andradite-Grossular Garnet with Epidote
Locality:Trantimou, Kayes Region, Mali
Description:Thin plate of green-black epidote crystals up to 3 mm long with two brown-black andradite-grossular (exact species t.b.d.) garnet crystals up to 16 mm across perched on one edge. The garnets are a combination of trapezohedral and dodecahedral form.
Overall Size:3.5x3.5x1.5 cm
